Question roughly speaking Paragard ??

Has anyone with the Paragard IUD have a problem with their length being tardy? I read everything (their site, FDA info.) and only see complaints of heavier period or spotting...nothing similar to the opposite. I simply got it surrounded by October, and I've checked to make sure it's within place. I've never been pregnant, so I know I'm at risk for expulsion and own been keeping up next to it. Anyone have any thinking? I also have the Paragard and only got it contained by mid-October. So far I haven't have any of the "usual" side effects close to heavier periods or more cramping. But I own gotten my period pretty much right prompt since having it inserted. I know that the Mirena IUD (the hormone base one) can cause short, lighter period or even cause you to skip your term altogether. If you're absolutely sure you have the copper IUD - and why wouldn't you be sure - consequently your body is probably still adjusting to it. My doctor told me it can steal up to a year for your body to completely adjust to an IUD. If you're sure the IUD still in place this is the just other thing I can ponder of, sorry.

IUDs are small, "T-shaped" contraceptive devices made of flexible plastic. IUDs are available by prescription merely. A woman and her clinician decide which is the right type for her, and the clinician inserts it contained by her uterus to prevent pregnancy. Two types are now available contained by the U.S.:
ParaGard (Copper T 380A) — contains copper and can be left within place for 12 years
Mirena — continuously releases a small amount of the hormone progestin, and is effective for five years
